Markilux Pergola
The markilux pergola features square posts to match the conservatory and a crank handle to one side to allow one side of the awning to be lowered so the awning can be used in the rain.

The awning system has slender posts and lateral guide tracks provides generous shading with an extension of up to 6 metres. The Markilux 8800 conservatory awning
This awning was designed to have an overhang to the front edge to give better internal shading in the conservatory and is linked into a sun and wind sensor so that the awning will come out when strong sun light is present and keep the conservatory area cool.
The Markilux 8800 Exterior awning for conservatories, glass canopies and large skylights has an ingenious tensioning system and with sturdy design allow areas of up to 36 m² to be shaded by one awning (with tracfix system 30 m²). It has won both the iF product design award 2013 as well as the German Design Award 2014 special mention are a nice reassurance for the markliux 8800´s outstanding design.
